Some new designs from Bekah!

I have been a very busy girl at work these days, but I am still managing to get some layouts done! Today I want to share 2 kits with you today by Bekah E Designs available at Scrappity-Doo-Dah.

The first is Ocean Wonders this kit is filled with gorgeous blues and plenty of beachy elements for you to use with your summer photos

I love this picture of Jamie on the beach it is one of my favorites. She is almost 3 in the photo and she is one little cutie! I love her Nemo bathing suit. She loved that movie she would watch it over and over again. She loved the song Beyond the Sea by Bobby Darin that would play during the credits at the end of the movie. When the song was over she would say "THE END" and start to cry because the movie was over! It never failed she always cried at the end of Nemo ahhh my little girl. Wow that was 5 years ago!

I also really like this kit Here's the Scoop it is so pretty lots of yummy ice cream elements and beautiful soft pastel colors. I will have to remember to bring my camera along next time we go for ice cream

I recently had a girls day out with Lisa and Jamie. We spent the day in Manhattan first we went to the Museum of Natural History one of Jamie's favorite places and then we had tea at the American Girl Store. I love to go to the city on Sundays during the summer months no crowds to deal with and the weather was perfect for walking. I wish I could say the same for my shoes! Here are some pictures from our afternoon tea.

Spending time with my family  is what I live for and I am so happy to share my favorite moments with you!

Words can't express how gorgeous this kit Into the Night is! A fantastic collaboration by Designs by Helly and Veronica Spriggs -Studio Vivarant available at Scrapbookgraphics. Here are my layouts I created with this kit, the first one is Circle of Love it is a picture of my father and Jamie when she was an infant.  It is the only picture that I have of Jamie with my Dad.

Yay Summer!

I know technically it is not yet summer but to me Memorial Day is the start of my favorite season! Let's here it for sunshine and warm weather. To start the season I have 2 layouts to share with you that I created with Pottery Barn Summer- by Veronica and is available at Scrapbookgraphics.

First Layout is of my favorite girl swimming at my sister's.  Just look at that smile! She was having a ball.

This is a picture of my Grandparents with my Aunt Kathy, Aunt Dotty, and Uncle John at Coney Island. I am not sure of the date but I am guessing it is most likely early 1950's.

Girls Night Out

Tonight I had a great Girl's Night Out with my daughter! We went to my favorite Scrapbook Store -Scrapper's Playground for Renee's "Definitely Disney Class". Lost a tape runner but we had a great time and the layouts are fantastic. I left them in her car so I will post at a later date.

Naturally I don't want to disappoint you so I do have some other layouts completed from another fun Girl's Night Out. These pictures were taken a while ago at my niece Kimberly's bachelorette party in Atlantic City.

A little something for Easter

I love anything vintage and have been collecting these images from various websites and blogs. I made this Easter canvas for the mantle over my fireplace and I love how it came out! Every now and then I get away from the computer and get my hands dirty with paints and inks and have a ball doing so! This was a very quick project I painted the canvas with Distress Crackle paint in Mustard Seed when it was dry I inked the edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I also inked the bottom layer of paper with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen and punched the edges with a corner punch. The scallops were die cut with the Cricut. I added some flowers and a beautiful piece of lace at the bottom and finished off with stickles.

Spring Fling!

Oh boy I can't believe it has been over a month since I posted! I won't let this happen again that I promise. Finally after a winter with the most amount of snow that I can remember it is SPRING! I love spring the weather is starting to get warmer and my favorite spring flowers are blooming right now. Daffodils and tulips are my favorite spring flowers just in case you were wondering what they were or you want to send me some flowers LOL!

Art Journal Caravan

This year I decided to participate in the Art Journal Caravan at Scrapbookgraphics. Each week the fabulous Tangie Baxter has a new kit and journaling prompts to inspire your creativity. We are now at week 6 and you guessed it I have only managed to create 3 layouts! Notice I didn't say finish that is because I have decided my Art Journal will be hybrid. I LOVE digital but I also love to stamp, color and add lots of embellishments from my stash and believe me I have one heck of a stash!

I have always been fascinated with art journaling and took a journaling class at Scrapper's Playground with Jessica, she is a talented artist and inspired me to finally take the plunge! Oh and did I mention that Scrapper's Playground is my FAVORITE store. If you are in North Babylon you MUST stop in. This store is filled with the most gorgeous papers, they have just about everything you need for paper crafting and you have to check out the awesome wall of COLOR! If you can you should also take some of the classes offered at the store. Sue has the most talented staff they are so helpful and I can't begin to tell you how much I have learned attending the classes.
