This year I decided to participate in the
Art Journal Caravan at Scrapbookgraphics. Each week the fabulous Tangie Baxter has a new kit and journaling prompts to inspire your creativity. We are now at week 6 and you guessed it I have only managed to create 3 layouts! Notice I didn't say finish that is because I have decided my Art Journal will be hybrid. I LOVE digital but I also love to stamp, color and add lots of embellishments from my stash and believe me I have one heck of a stash!
I have always been fascinated with art journaling and took a journaling class at
Scrapper's Playground with Jessica, she is a talented artist and inspired me to finally take the plunge! Oh and did I mention that Scrapper's Playground is my FAVORITE store. If you are in North Babylon you MUST stop in. This store is filled with the most gorgeous papers, they have just about everything you need for paper crafting and you have to check out the awesome wall of COLOR! If you can you should also take some of the classes offered at the store. Sue has the most talented staff they are so helpful and I can't begin to tell you how much I have learned attending the classes.
